Job Description

Excellent opportunity to lead one of our client’s main manufacturing sites, a lower tier COMAH chemicals manufacturing facility making specialty polymer additives. With a workforce of around 100 people and home to a similar number in broader corporate functions such as R&D, finance and management, this high-profile opportunity needs a thoroughbred operations leader who can add value to and ensure continued reliability of the plant. This would include identifying and delivering operational efficiency and SHE improvements on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements

• Manufacturing expert who thrives on efficiency and reliability
• Your experience should ideally be in chemicals, polymers or materials, although experience of pharma manufacturing, food or other regulated manufacturing may be suitable
• Mindset to constantly seek out operational issues that can be improved
• Leader who can quickly gain trust and inspire a culture of continuous improvement.
• You must have been a site leader before with ultimate responsibility for all main functions; planning, operations, engineering, etc
• You should have experience of COMAH or equivalent highly regulated manufacturing
• You must be qualified in a suitable technical discipline for the role
• Business qualifications helpful but not critical (this is not a GM role).
