Job Description

High profile opportunity to play a key leadership role in shaping all Energy related activities of the company.  This position needs a highly experienced energy sector professional with extensive experience and understanding of energy markets, including gas, crude oil, naphtha, NGL, biofuels, coal, transportation fuels, and electricity, and their interfaces, plus ideally refined products, especially light olefins. 

Job Requirements

• Proven energy markets professional with 20+ years of experience, including strategic planning and / or commercial roles, and knowledge of relationship between energy and chemicals markets.
• Deep knowledge of complex energy markets. Operational level background in an international oil and petrochemical company.
• Widely respected with strong name recognition in energy industries. Has a large inventory of high- and mid-level energy company contacts.
• Big picture strategic thinker. Understands relationships between energy and chemical markets.
• Visionary understanding of oil refining evolutionary trend from fuels products to chemical products.
• Succinct and persuasive strategic communicator with diverse cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with regulators, NGOs, energy technology providers, and clients at all levels, including C-suite.
• Skilled in fostering relationships, generating business opportunities, and negotiating.
• Strong implementation skills.
• Proven organizational and motivational strengths.
• Demonstrated collaboration and team motivation skills.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally
